The challenge

Why this work matters

Children cannot learn well when they are hungry, and families experiencing unemployment and economic hardship face difficult choices between food, schooling and other basic needs.

Our intent

ABFAED will combine practical support for immediate needs with longer-term work toward improved livelihoods, so that help is not temporary.
